OffGrid brings communication back to its original purpose: simple, intentional and distraction-free. Privacy is not a setting you switch on. It is how the phone is built.
Most phones are designed to capture your attention and collect your data in the background. OffGrid is designed to do the opposite. Here is exactly what that means.
No apps
OffGrid ships with the essentials only. There is no app store and no browser, and nothing can be added later. Many minimal phones are ordinary smartphones with apps hidden or blocked, and those restrictions can be bypassed. OffGrid is purpose-built from the ground up, so there is nothing to override.
No tracking
OffGrid does not track you, does not collect your data and runs no hidden surveillance. There is no spyware and no background monitoring. What you do stays yours, which also means no one else can track the phone either.
No ads
There are no feeds to fill with advertising and no profile being built to target you. OffGrid does not sell your attention because it was never designed to capture it.
What it does do
Calls, text messaging, offline maps and simple tools. That is it, by design. Just calls, texts and real life.
